Welcome to the Cinematography Salon podcast
Thank you for dedicating your time to join us. Here's everything you need to know for a smooth remote or in-person episode recording.
Remote Recording Preparation:
The following information will guide you through the process of joining our remote podcast session.
Audio Setup:
We'll be recording remotely, so you'll need to record through your computer. To avoid any audio feedback, please use headphones or earbuds.
While we recommend using an external microphone for optimal audio quality, your computer's built-in mic will suffice if an external one is unavailable.
Riverside.fm Recording:
You will receive an invite to join our virtual studio using Riverside.fm, which only works with Chrome and Edge on laptops or desktops. To use Riverside on the iPhone or Android you need to use the Riverside.fm iPhone or Android app. Browsers like safari and Chrome on mobile phones and tablets are not (yet) supported.
Guest Release Form:
Kindly download, complete, and return our Guest Release Form using the link provided below. While the Cinematography Salon podcast encourages a laid-back conversation, and you're free to discuss or avoid any topic, our legal team requires that all guests complete the form before the recording date. Please send the signed form to cinematographysalon@gmail.com
Images:
We kindly request that you provide us with a high-resolution headshot and 2-3 relevant images. These could be pictures related to the topics we'll discuss, behind-the-scenes shots, or images showcasing your personality and interests. Please send the images in JPEG or PNG format and ensure they are at least 2000 x 2000 pixels for optimal quality.
Additional Suggestions for Guests:
Prepare a few talking points or anecdotes related to your work or the episode's theme. This will help keep the conversation flowing and engaging.
Find a quiet, comfortable space for recording to minimize background noise and ensure a pleasant listening experience for our audience.
Test your audio equipment ahead of time to avoid any technical issues during the recording session.
Feel free to promote your appearance on the podcast through your social media channels or website, and let us know if you need any promotional materials.
We're looking forward to having a fantastic conversation with you on the Cinematography Salon podcast!
